Lemon Myrtle Oil – Backhousia citriodora 10ml
 
Grown & harvested just outside Nimbin, Australia by local growers who make this uniquely Australian essential oil, and have organic certification which means the soils & environment on their farm is healthy & improving all the time.
Paul and Jenny have established their farm some 40 years ago and the main species they have is Backhousia Citriodora. They have lovingly nurtured the plants from seedlings to fully mature trees, and the essential oil has been distilled on the property since the beginning.
 
I personally use this oil to make my all purpose cleaning spray which I use to clean just about everything.
 
To make your own notox cleaning spray add 2 tbsp of Dr Bronner's Peppermint Pure-Castile Magic Soap & 8 drops of Black Sheep Farm Organic Lemon Myrtle essential oil & water to a spay bottle. Use it as an all purpose spray to clean windows, mirrors, floors, bathrooms, kitchen & more.
 
Method of extraction – Steam distilled from the leaves of B. citriodora
Characteristics – Intensely fresh, lemon-like fragrance
Common uses – The uses of this oil may be similar to other lemon-scented oils. great for DIY cleaning sprays & as a natural insect repellent.
Always use diluted, as with all high citral oils – they are potential skin irritants.
